Founder empathy
The work starts from the owner's real constraints: time, cash, staffing, customer flow, delivery quality, and decision fatigue.
About
Montoya Consulting is built around a simple idea: owners do not need more complexity. They need clear priorities, better systems, and practical execution that helps the business move.
Mike Montoya Bio
Mike Montoya is an entrepreneur, inventor, patent holder, former CFL professional athlete, and founder of Montoya Consulting.
Before launching Montoya Consulting, Mike built and operated companies across medical technology, health and wellness, behavioral support, fitness, hospitality, and local service markets. He invented and helped commercialize NeuroReformer, an FDA-cleared neuromuscular therapy device used across clinical and athletic settings, while leading business development, partnerships, sales, marketing, operations, and product commercialization.
His operating background includes scaling clinical relationships, building B2B lead systems, managing teams, running service businesses, and turning complex offers into practical systems. That is the lens he brings to founder-led companies: clarify the constraint, improve the numbers, build the operating rhythm, and execute.
What makes the work different
The engagement is hands-on, practical, and tuned to the business stage. Some clients need a website and local growth system. Others need KPI dashboards, operating cadence, process cleanup, or executive advisory.
The work starts from the owner's real constraints: time, cash, staffing, customer flow, delivery quality, and decision fatigue.
Every recommendation connects to a repeatable operating system: who owns it, how it is measured, and how it improves.
Plans are translated into websites, dashboards, workflows, automations, content systems, and practical next steps.
Montoya Consulting is a fit when the founder is still making key decisions and needs better leverage across people, process, technology, and customer acquisition.
Healthcare and wellness are strong specialties, but the method applies across local services, professional services, startups, and owner-led teams.
The same engagement can cover strategy, website conversion, Google visibility, social operations, analytics, and the internal workflows needed to deliver.
